Independent holiday in Bangkok. Be careful! Independently travel around Bangkok: Traveling by yourself for Bangkok(Exploring attractions Bangkok, transport Bangkokhotels Bangkok and etc.)
One day, having gone to a wedding tour in Thailand, we now go there every year. And even though we were in this beautiful country several times, but never been to the capital - Bangkok. But this city is in the top ten most memorable and unusual large settlements in the world. And no wonder: Bangkok It is a prominent representative of the culture of South-East Asia and the Buddhist religion. In addition, Bangkok is considered to be an excellent starting point for trips to many countries in Asia, including Nepal and Indonesia.
Bangkok - yourself:And here it is - the moment of arrival in the city of angels. Before us is an amazing, unforgettable, this modern and archaic at the same time in Bangkok. Officially, the city has a name Krungtepa. In fact, his full name is very long, that even allowed him to get into the Guinness Book of Records.
Write it all is unlikely to succeed, but the meaning, that is, the translation, very entertaining. If you take the approximate translation, in Russian it sounds like this: "The majestic city, the angel city, the impregnable city of God Indra, the city of eternal treasures, the great capital of the world, rewarded with nine priceless stones, the city of happiness abounding in luxury and grace. The Royal Palace, like the divine cradle , where the ruler is a great God, a city given by Indra and built by Vishvakarman himself. " It's amazing, is not it? Exactly the same impression occurs when you see the city itself.

Bangkok - Travel:And, at night we downright burst into Bangkok with a friendly greeting of this amazing city. At the airport, even the smell of some kind of special. Those who have been here will recognize as the smell filled with inexplicable friendliness and a completely different life. In all organized airport, systematically, so we liked it here. But, we liked it even more in the Bangkok. Then we got out of the airport building and went in search of a taxi, got there, and called us right hostel - Lub D, went to destination.
Night in Bangkok Is something. The bright, flashing neon lights megalopolis amazes. The good-natured taxi driver takes us to the right place, we leave and go to the hostel. Entering the room, we begin to look for a reception. Nearby there is some kind of counter - whether it's a bar, or it's still a reception. Young people are sitting next to them and drinking beer. Looking for the eyes of someone like an administrator or at least a bartender, but there's no one to find. In general, it turned out that this is still a bar. And the reception desk was in the dark. That's where we registered (it's good that there were vacant numbers) and went to the room. The interior is quite stylish. Among the advantages - the presence of air conditioning, telephone, TV, safe, hot and cold water, hairdryer. Among the shortcomings - smoking is allowed only from the outside, and wi fi is available for general use and no more than 30 minutes per person.
The next day it was decided to look at Bangkok and take a look at the local sights. Taking a taxi (by the way, is one of the most economical in terms of money, means of transport in the capital), we have come to see the city through the car window. A trip in any direction is from the 60 100 to bat. So what Bangkok? This is perhaps the city a completely different life. It's bright, alluring, modern, challenging visitors by its luxury and splendor. But on the other hand, he can be moody, miserable, smelling the old and poverty. Huge buildings give way to small dilapidated little houses. That's such a contrast.
Advertising is everywhere. Signs, boards, and other ways of informing advertise popular brands pricey brand cars, jewelry, real estate for every taste rich, food and treats. Bangkok - a city, giving a dream one and rejecting it in others. Hot tropical city, popular not only for its advantages, but also the prevalence of drug trafficking and prostitution. However, Bangkok is able to engage visitors in a dynamic rhythm, envelop their networks.
And the temples? They deserve special attention. Even the fact that Bangkok is an extremely progressive city does not prevent it from being the center of Buddhist religion. His Majesty the King and his family members are regarded as close to God, therefore these are extremely revered personalities in Thailand, which is expressed everywhere in the portraits of the royal family. Prayers and so-called "houses of spirits" are still everywhere. On the streets, monks in orange robes go around and collect alms in copper bowls. It is not surprising that people in the street at the Buddha's portrait stop, they pray and leave gifts in the form of fruits, flowers and even phantoms. And all this is so sincere and good-natured that hope is instilled in human kindness and simplicity. But, of course, it is better to see it personally. Therefore, if you can fly here, do not hesitate for a long time!
Let's speak about personal experiences visiting the facilities of religious orientation.
When we arrived at the temple complex, we were approached by a Thai with a self-made tablet in his hands. There was something written on it in Thai, so you can not make out almost anything. But, as we have understood, this person looks after the order (that the temple was visited in the proper form and behaved accordingly - the rules of Buddhism in this sense are tough). One of us has his knees open, and we can not go to the temple. Therefore, the Thai offers us to use the services of tuk-tuk (his friend - the driver of this transport) and ride the complex for only 10 baht per person. We agreed without thinking. The idea to go round all the interesting places for 20 baht we liked, so we sat down in the tuk-tuk. The driver kindly asked us in English if we are ready. Of course, ready!
And then it began. We visited all located here in terms of brand clothing stores and (allegedly), jewelry stores, and the like. We can say, met with all the traders of this wonderful place. Here and designer clothes you sew on a hundred dollars for a pack, and sell finished and everything else.
In general, nerves at the limit, fed up with all these shops. But the driver is also not a blunder. He drove not only us on trade outlets, but also alternately routed the route - temple-store-temple and so on. When once again he drove to a clothing store and offered to go, we just could not stand it. Like, we will not go there and in general, it's all boring. Perturbation was not the limit, because we do not like all these divorces. They said that if he so desperately needed, let him go himself. The Taet began to beg us, that we still visited the salon and we do not need to buy something there. It's enough just to go in, stand a few minutes and get out. We were subdued by his sincerity and directness. He said that if we do not come in, he will not be paid money. In general, we regretted the Thai and still went to this ill-fated store, so as not to deprive a person of part-time work.
Based on the foregoing, we conclude on the tuk-tuk. Driver Relationship with passengers interesting. Sitting in the transport, you go do not go where you want, and where beneficial to the driver. No, of course, the opportunity to see something of what you want there, but other than that, you get to know a completely different side of life in Thailand. Keep it on the note.
Another unpleasant moment. When we wanted to eat, we have a good hour and a half wandering in search of a more or less tolerable café. The problem is that we could not find a place where there is a menu in English. All in Thai, with some weird pictures. In general, we do not expect that will face similar. While in Bangkok, the food is sold on every street corner. The food here is absolutely different - for all tastes, preferences, financial capabilities, and so on.
The next morning we decided that we wanted to go further and look at other places and cities.
It is better if you do not plan well, at what time you "hover" in Bangkok. Maybe you'll want to stay here a day or two, a week or even more. So just take a ticket and fly to meet the adventure!
